Saavik

Starfleet officer who, as a cadet, served as navigator on the Enterprise during the Project Genesis crisis in 2285. Saavik, a Vulcan, had been mentored by Spock, who counseled her that tolerance of her human colleagues was logical. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan). Following the Genesis crisis, Saavik, along with David Marcus, transferred to the U.S.S. Grissom for further study of the Genesis planet. Saavik later returned to Planet Vulcan. (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek I: The Voyage Home). Saavik apparenty had sex with Spock on the Genesis Planet when Spock was undergoing Pon farr. Although not canon, it is believed that Saavik remained on Vulcan because she was pregnant with Spock's child. Also not canon, it is suggested that Saavik was half-Vulcan and half-Romulan.
